It has been increasingly difficult to write a post thus far. Then again it has been hard to write at all. I had the damnest time trying to write my English paper yesterday. To be honest the paper was not that exciting as was the story. I was done by 4:00 PM and then I took a nice three hour nap before I woke up to cook dinner and watch True Blood on HBO.
On Saturday we got our first car together. It is a 2010 Nissan Sentra and it ran very smoothly. We test drove a 2010 Honda Civic that was nice as well, but the Nissan seemed to feel more like myself since I would be the one doing the driving. I love the gadgets it had as well: blue tooth, iPod connectcion, etc. It works for both Leon and I and thanks to the wonderful guests and family members and their wedding gifts to us we were able to purchase it even at our price range. We are picking it up on Wednesday and we can't wait to start going on road trips!
To be honest it feels a lot better than I thought it would to be married. I mean I'm sure this must be that "honeymoon" phase, but being together seven years and going through the hardships that we've been through only to pull this off is just a testament to the fact that we truly were meant for each other (as sappy as that sounds).
We're still the same couple with the same problems, but we are still willing to work through them and are doing so. It isn't perfect. But, its us and that's what makes it wonderful.
On to other news:
I need to take Smooth to the vet. I have to find the time and money to do so. Hopefully in September. He isn't sick, but his skin is sensitive and we are trying to figure out what could be wrong. I bathe him and groom his nails with the petapaw, etc. I have to clean his ears again since they are prone to wax build up and infection. I just want him to be comfortable. He slept on my legs last night and all morning. He does that a lot. Such a sweet naked kitty!
My face continues to break out and I have a feeling that Proactiv is making it worse now. I want to make an appointment with my Dermatologist to figure out what is going on. I don't think the face creams work for me anymore. I think I need that green pill that IS NOT ACUTANE. I need the other one..the antibiotic. I have to ask the office bookkeeper/accountant what they gave him as his face now looks AMAZING!
Anyway, I guess that's all for now...
